About me
My name is Amélie
I am an artist half French and half Italian. I was born in Rome but moved several times back and forth from France to Italy.
Growing up between two countries art quickly became a safe space, a language of my own that didn’t need to be translated.

My journey
At 6 I discovered and fell in love with oil painting in a school laboratory. It remains my favorite technique although over the years I have tried many. I used acrylics when I could not oil paint, and I learned photography, in the first two years of high school in Italy.
At 15 I left Rome on my own and went to live in Lyon, France. In 2020, after high school, I moved to Paris to study art history at the Louvre.
Vestiti d'Arte
With the persistence of the pandemic, I left Paris to return home to Rome, where I live to this day. Here I decided to bring to the world a dream conceived during the lockdown in Paris:
to bring people closer to art, bringing the paintings alive out of museums, close to us, on our clothes. Vestiti d’Arte was born by creating unique pieces that could re-establish the direct contact between art and people.
